~Anna’s POV~

“Are you sure Elsa was in your room?” Jack asks.

“I’m positive. I mean, who else, besides you, would have ice powers?” I reply.

“Okay,” North starts, “We’ll have to request that Tooth bring up Elsa’s memories. Hopefully, we may find out if she was cause of this and find where she is at.”

                “Right.”

The team and I continue following North, Bunnymund, and Sandy through all of the columns and bridges. At moment, we were in desperate need of Tooth’s help. After the team disbanded not too long ago, I decided to go home alone, and right as I entered my home, I notice a bright light emitting through my bedroom door. I knew that light only meant one thing, that a snow globe was being used. Of course, I had to know who was the culprit that was using my emergency globe, but once I opened the door, there was no sign of life anywhere to be seen. The only thing that was left behind was the trail of frost the lead up to my nightstand. My sister visited me, well my room actually, but I know it was her. It just had to be. Maybe, she needed my snow globe to find Luna. But, even so, why didn’t she need my help?

Once I spotted the evidence, I ran over to Rapunzel’s home, and we called everyone back to base then reported the news. I would’ve used the snow globe I had stashed under my bed, but… I didn’t have one. Luckily, my cousin never had to use hers.

Now, the team and I need urgent help from the Guardian of Memories herself. I only hope that she could provide with some answers we so desperately need, and hopefully find my sister and Luna before something bad happens to them.

“Tooth!” North shouts out. “Tooth!! Are you here?!” Even while he was calling out, he seem to know where he was going. He didn’t need to find Tooth because he already knew where she was.

But, even so, Tooth tirelessly emerges from an unknown room. She was hovering just inches above ground and wipes her droopy eyes. I feel so bad that I woke up the Tooth Fairy from her nap.

After taking a long yawn, Tooth acknowledges our presence. “Hello North… everyone.” She takes one final stretch. “What are you all doing here?”

“We are sorry to have woken you, Tooth, but it’s an emergency. We have reason to believe that Elsa was in her own home, possibly looking for something. We know it’s against protocol, but we were wondering if you could possibly pull up Elsa’s memory box. We may be able to track her from there.”

With that, Tooth’s feathers fluff up and she was finally wide awake. The sudden thought must’ve woken her right up. Her expression reminded me of when Rapunzel had her first taste of espresso; let’s just say she was wide awake for a whole week.

“Oh my, I can’t believe I didn’t think of  using her memories. I don’t think it’s too late to look at Elsa’s short-term memories. We may find her. Quickly, follow me everyone.”

She zooms down towards ground level, and we try our best to keep up with the speeding fellow, but fail miserably. At least, we met up with her at the end where she was patiently waiting for our arrival. After passing through the columns and streams, the group and I stumble upon a rather large tree hovering up, or at least that’s what it looks like, above the ground. It didn’t take a genius to spot small specks of gold hidden behind the ivy vines.

“Tooth, what’s up with this place?” Hiccup asks.

“Yea, I thought you said you were going to take us to Elsa’s memory box,” Kristoff adds.

Tooth simply smiles. Then, she turns her attention to the ivy and pushes aside the plants to reveal to everyone a large gold door. “This is my little secret chamber. It’s where it stores all of the memories belonging to each and every Legend that we know of. All of your memories are stored here. Since Elsa is the Guardian of Winter, her memories are stored here, as well,” she explains.

“I never knew there was such a room,” Rapunzel comments. I look over and gaze into her bright green eyes, which were filled with excitement.

“Well, of course there is. I’ve just never told anyone. Now, come on in. I’ll show you around.”

Tooth opens the door and enters the room first, but once stepping foot into the mysterious room, she gasps and stumbles backwards. Bunnymund rushes forward and catches her before she could even fall to the floor. Realizing their teammates distress, North and Sandy run into the room to investigate, with us right on their tail. Once everyone was able to set their eyes on the situation, we couldn’t believe the sight. Though a magnificent and enchanting room, there was one crucial thing missing. The memory boxes. Almost half of the memories that were suppose to be stored in their vaults were gone. Everything seemed completely empty.

“Oh no, the memories re gone,” Tooth whimpers.

“Are you sure you didn’t misplace them?” Merida asks.

“No; they never leave this room. Someone must’ve stolen them!”

                “Whose memories?” I ask.

“Mine, yours, everyone’s. All of our memory boxes are gone. Who could’ve done this?”

“Who do you think?” Jack asks. Though by the tone of his voice, it wasn’t really a question. It was more like he was stating the obvious.

After regaining her balance, Tooth rushes over to the far side of the room and scans the vaults. “I don’t understand. Pitch has no idea this place even exist. Even his memories are missing.”

“Who, then, would even dare to steal the memories of the Guardians?” North asks in a fit of rage. “Quickly, we must find the culprit. They mustn’t have gotten far. We may be able to still catch them.”

Right on his command, we do as we are told. We split up and search for the criminal, and if not, then search for any clues. I partnered up with Tooth to cover more ground, since I was unable to fly like she could. We need to find the person responsible for stealing our memory boxes. We all search high and low, without missing a nook or cranny, but we were unable to find the culprit or any clues to their identity.

After what felt like an hour of nonstop search, I reach the top level of a column. I scan through the floors, without finding anything, until I stop a familiar teal spot on the floor. A baby tooth was lying on the floor, unconscious.

                “Tooth!! Help; hurry!!” I yell.

Almost instantly, Tooth was hovering beside. She gasps at the sight of the baby tooth. “Oh no, Baby Tooth!”

She flutters over to the tiny creatures and picks her up, cradling the small being in her hands. Within moments, the others were right beside me, eyeing the scene in front of them. We watch as the tiny being twitches before regaining its consciousness. Seconds after it opens its eyes, Baby Tooth was already soaring in the air, almost as if it was hurt at all. But, that didn’t calm anyone’s nerves.

“Oh, I’m so glad you’re okay,” Tooth says. The small fairy lands on Tooth’s hands, and she brings her hands closer to her face, as if she was hugging the tiny being.

“What happen to her?” Flynn asks.

Baby Tooth only squeaks at a fast pace for her response, but none of us were able to comprehend what she was saying. Well, all but one.

“W-Wait. You don’t remember what happened to you?” Tooth exclaims. She looks over at North for answers. “How is that possible?”

“Maybe, it has something to do with this,” Merida states. She crouches down to the floor then slides her finger across the floor. Once standing once again, she flips her hand over to reveal a purple-colored substance laying on top her fingers.

“It looks like dust,” Hiccup states.

“Sandy, do you know what this is?” North asks the golden guardian.

Sandy merely nods then hovers over to the mysterious substance. He picks up a pinch of the dust and sprinkles it down his palm, getting a closer examination of the product. His eyes widen in shock. Then, he overs over to Hiccup, bringing his hand containing the last of the dust on his palm to his mouth.

“Woah, Sandy, what are you doin-“ Hiccup shouts before he was interrupted when Sandy throws the dust in his face. Hiccup shakes his head, trying to releasing the last of the substance, before looking at all of us, with a blank expression. “Why are you all staring at me?”

With that, Sandy begins displaying pictures to North.

                “Ah, I see,” North says.

                “What’s he saying?” Kristoff asks.

“He says this substance is similar to his dream sand, but this type only takes away memories,” North explains.

“Take away memories. But, I can’t even do that,” Tooth states.

“I see. Well, Sandy doesn’t who could’ve created this. We’ve never seen anything like this.”

“Are you sure it’s not Pitch who’s behind all this?” Jack questions.

“It’s not likely, Jack. Pitch isn’t in charge of memories, so he has no jurisdiction over them. I don’t believe he would have the power to erase memories.”

“Then, who’s behind all of this?” I ask.

~Luna’s POV~

After making a quick escape from Tooth’s Palace, I wound up on the California shoreline. Currently, I was lying down on the moist sand inside a cove hidden deep in the rocky hills. I have to regain all of my energy, especially after an exhausting trip of traveling through the Pacific Ocean. But, I couldn’t stay in the cove for too long. One, because I need to get back to the lair before Pitch can realize that I’m gone, and two, I didn’t want drown by the incoming tide.

After taking a couple of breathers, I pushed myself into a sitting position. I grab the satchel beside me and dig my hand into the bag, retrieving all the memories I stole. To recap, I took the memories of Medusa, Pitch, Elsa, Hans, Mother Gothel, Mor’du, Red Death, Tooth, North, Bunnymund, Sandy, Hiccup, Toothless, Merida, Jack, Rapunzel, Flynn, Kristoff, and Anna; plus, a few other but those weren’t that important. I wouldn’t have taken those boxes, but I was in such a hurry I didn’t realize I was doing. After pulling out every memory box I snatched from Tooth’s Palace, I pull out the exact box I was looking for. Medusa’s.

I sigh, “Well, here goes nothing.” I brush my fingers on top of the black box. Once setting my fingers on top of the metallic box, I’m engulfed by a blinding light.

~Medusa’s Memories~

After the light diminishes away, I was brought into a darker surrounding. Once my eyes adjust to the new surroundings, I realize the rocky terrains. It was similar to Pitch’s liar, aside from the actual light inside the room. The only source of light that illuminated the large, almost endless, cavern were the flames ignited on pieces of wood hanging on the wall or scattered neatly on the floor, making it seem like a fire pit. The only question is… who’s living here.

Immediately after spotting the makeshift fire pit, I hear the sound of a large force slamming against the air. I turn but was only pushed back by a strong wind. That’s when I see it. A dragon, but not only one. There were numerous dragons around me, so many that I couldn’t even count. It was almost an entire village of dragons. Dragons of different sizes, species, and color. While some were flying through the air, others were laying around.

While I was entranced by the beauty of my surrounding, seeing all of the dragons, I almost trip on a rock. I look down at the small stone then spot another and another until I realize a trail of them leading up to a pile of neatly stacked rocks. The piles of rocks were grouped together to make it seem like a makeshift nest. I step closer to the makeshift nest and glimpse inside. I spot inside overwhelms me. Inside the nest were two young black dragons sleeping side by side. One of two was slightly larger than the other, so it was obvious that it was the eldest.

I couldn’t take my eyes away from the younglings. They were just too cute to look away. I couldn’t help but squeal when both dragons open their tiny eyes and yawn. Once the two beings were wide awake, I was fascinated by their glowing eyes. Though they practically look like twins, their eyes were completely different. The eldest possess piercing, icy blue eyes while the younger dragon bears electric green eyes.

But, something was strikingly familiar about these two. Almost… like, I knew them.

                “W-Wait are they-“

Interrupting me in mid-sentence, a loud crash echoed throughout the cavern. I twist my body around but jump back when a thunder booms throughout the cavern with bright, flashing lights following soon after.

With that, every dragon in the area shriek and roar in horror. Some few into the air but not until nets spring from the ground and trap the dragons, causing them to crash on the floor. Men begin rushing through the small opening, capturing each dragon in their sight. Who could be the cause of this disaster? Who the hell in their right minds would kidnap these dragons?

After the men leave from the opening, there was only one left. Only one stood watching each and every dragon being captured by the men. And I knew, he was the leader. The big, burly man with long, black dreadlocks bearing a sinister smirk on his face was the man causing all of this disaster.

“Make sure you oafs capture each and every last of them. These dragons belong to me now!!” he yells over to his men.

While looking at the catastrophe in front of me, I hear shuffling behind me. Even with all the screeches coming from the poor dragons who fell victim to that monster of a man, I could hear the movement behind me. I look back at the two younglings and spot the eldest guiding its scared, younger sibling away from the evil man. It was guiding it to safety. My curiosity was my worst enemy; I have to see what was going to happen, so I closely follow the two. I squeeze myself through the small exit that the dragons took while the eldest continues to guide its sibling out of the cave. Finally, after a few troublesome minutes, the dragons exit the cavern and into the stormy outdoors, with me behind their tails.

The rain pours down on the two of them as they crawl to their safe zone. That’s when they reach a cliff. Once reaching their destination, both dragons spread their wings, ready to take off, but before they could make their sweet escape, another explosion was heard behind them.

“You two aren’t getting away from me!!” I hear the malicious man yell.  He stood a mere few meters behind the dragons, just enough space to snatch them.

“No!” I shout, but it wasn’t any use. They can’t hear me.

The eldest dragon, with the piercing blue eyes, stood in between its sibling and the man, or should I say monster, shielding him from the threat in front of them.

It whimpers to its siblings. It broke my heart seeing the pain in their eyes. They were completely cornered. The both of them weren’t going to make it out of here.

Then, the eldest began taking short steps backward, pushing the younger dragon to the edge.

The youngest whines in protest, not wanting to leave his sibling’s side.

The black haired man seem to hair notice their movement. Then, he shouts out, “Don’t you dare leave me! For I am Drago, the ruler of dragons!!!”

With that, he advances towards the two. In the last second, the youngest dragon jumps off the cliff, quickly flapping its wings and flying away from his sibling just as she was caught by Drago.

Both dragons cry out to each other as the distant between each other grew. The eldest was stuck in Drago’s grasp while the other was free from harm’s way.

Before I could do anything else, which was going to be useless, everything fades to black. In a matter of seconds, color was returning to my view.

The new surrounding was dark, darker than the cavern I was previously in, almost symbolizing the energy around me. Despite of the darkness, a single shed of light shown down on the eldest dragon with scaly midnight-colored skin and piercing blue eyes. The poor dragon was trapped inside of a small cage on board a large, almost colossal, dragon’s back. I wish I could’ve done something, but I don’t have the power to do anything. The only thing I can do was watch the scene in front of me.

Fear, sadness, and pain were the only thing showing in the dragon’s eyes. She wondered if her sibling was safe and out of harm’s way, or at least if he was still alive. Even with the possible danger she was in, all she could think about was her younger brother.

While strapped on the colossal dragon’s back, the cage suddenly jolted and darkness was in her view. She feared something much worse was coming for her. That is until another voice speaks up.

“Poor, unfortunate creature. All alone with no one by her side. Doomed to be kept inside this so-called prison.”

She drops her head down in shame.

Finally, Pitch came into view. I knew he was going to come eventually. “But, you don’t deserve to be cooped up by this worthless coward of a man,” he says. With a twirl of his hand, he opens the cell door. Then, he reaches his hands inside the cage. The dragon crawls backwards until she is pressing her body against the cold bars. Without any other choice, she allows the stranger to take her, and Pitch gently grasp onto the creature. He takes her out of the tight space and cradles the dragon in his arms. “Have no fear, young dragon. You shall never be caged up again. I won’t allow such a beautiful creature end up in that horrible fate.”

The dragon looks ups and stares into her savior’s golden eyes. Finally, the light was returning in her eyes. She was rescued; she was going to be okay. She wasn’t going to spend another minute in the evil man’s control.

“With such a marvelous dragon like you, you shall be named Medusa. Now, why don’t we go home? You’ll be safe from any threat.”

She grins then snuggles her head against his chest and soft whimpers escape her throat. Then, the two disappear and everything fades to black.

~Back to Reality~

I jolt myself back to reality and push myself from the floor. While I took in deep steady breathes, I look at my surroundings. I was back in the cave. I was finally away from that nightmare of a memory. I bring my hand to my face and wipe the tears from my cheek. Now, I know the reason behind Medusa’s cold demeanor.

“I can’t believe it. Medusa was taken from her only family. And, Pitch was the one who save her. He was her guardian.” I push myself off the floor and stand on my hind legs. Then, I brush my hands through my hair. There was only one thing that couldn’t escape my mind. “I can’t believe Medusa’s brother is Toothless!!!”
